Spyware, viruses and other niggly Windows things
Heya everyone. Well, my IBM notebook is finally back from its repair, better than ever, we hope! Now I'm super phobic of spyware, viruses and anything that can slow or damage my computer down. The reason my computer broke down the last time was probably because of a virus attack. Anyway, I've been reading up, and it turns out that Windows and Internet Explorer are super vulnerable to viruses and spyware, and other malicious codes, scripts and whatchamajigs that hackers and advertisers with no conscience use to disrupt the lives of ordinary citizens like you and me. Grrr. That's the problem with selling out to the superpower - you suffer crossfire from guerilla attacks ;) Heh! Anyway, makes me wonder if I shouldn't have got a chic white PowerBook from Apple instead. Yeah, apps for Mac OS are really limited, but I would have less worries? Anyway, it's too late to wonder. I shall just try to equip myself properly and rule my computer instead of letting it rule over me!Oh and by the way, the original Star Wars trilogy (Episodes IV, V, VI) is finally out on DVD! Whoa.... may the Force Fever return, stronger than ever!
